Job summary

Job details
SETUP: 5 days/week in office, in North York, ON START DATE: ASAP CONTRACT: 12 months Responsibilities: Prepares year-to-date financial reports for regional governments. Prepares quarterly reports, journal entries, and reconciliations. Prepares annual grant utilization reports. Assists with the preparation and review of monthly financial statements. Conducts variance analysis of the monthly general ledger and financial statements. Performs revenue recognition and funds analysis and completes government documents. Maintains year-end audit schedules. Assists Managers with budget submissions to regional governments. Prepares annual returns, including the Charity Information Return. Completes GST returns semi-annually. Prepares and posts payroll journal entries. Skills and Experience Required 5+ years of experience in full cycle accounting Accounting designation (or near completion of one) NPO industry experience is an asset (not a must have) Strong MS Excel skills.
