This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to step into a varied role where priorities may shift based on the needs of the team, from senior-level accounting and project work to hands-on operational support. Your Responsibilities • You’ll support accounting priorities across the team, including journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, accounts receivable, and other operational needs • You’ll analyze and manipulate large datasets using advanced Excel tools, including Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, and automation • You’ll contribute to systems testing, data conversion, and finance-related project activities • You’ll prepare technical accounting documentation and apply Canadian accounting standards to practical business scenarios • You’ll review the work of accountants and technicians, providing thoughtful and constructive feedback • You’ll support process improvements and identify opportunities to make accounting activities more efficient • You’ll collaborate closely with finance and operational stakeholders while independently managing competing priorities Skills and Qualifications • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Active CPA designation or currently in the final stages of the CPA program • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, automation, and large dataset manipulation • Experience with systems testing and data conversion, ideally involving high-volume financial data • Experience with SAP, with exposure to BlackLine, Workiva, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, or Interlot considered an asset • Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical ability, attention to detail, and confidence reviewing others’ work • A collaborative, adaptable approach and willingness to take on work at varying levels based on team needs Why Partner with Altis If you’ve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy. Requirements

Requires at least five years of progressive accounting experience and an active CPA designation or being in the final stages of the CPA program. Candidates should have advanced Excel skills, technical accounting knowledge, and experience with systems testing and data conversion; SAP experience is required, while familiarity with other listed platforms is an asset.
