Job Role : Accountant Duration : 12 Months of contract (Need to go 4 days in week to onsite) Location : Toronto, ON Project : IFRS 17 Finance and Actuarial Transformation – support reduction of manual or complex tasks in the current month end close cycle. What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role : MS Office PeopleSoft Tableau report building knowledge/experience preferred Strong knowledge of Power Query preferred Power BI knowledge an asset ePAM knowledge an asset Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations: Completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA: CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent experience (3 years) 3 years or more of financial services industry experience in progressive finance roles (preferred) Exceptional Excel skills*** (very important) Experience with Power Query Excellent working knowledge of all Windows based software Experience or knowledge of financial reporting for Investments Experience working with large data sets,and automating manual processes is an asset. #IFRS17 #CPA #IFRS Mindlance is an equal-opportunity employer. Requirements
Requires a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA: CA, CGA, or CMA) or equivalent experience, and exceptional Excel skills with Power Query experience. Three or more years of experience is sought, preferably in progressive finance roles within financial services; experience with large datasets and investment reporting is an asset.
