Job summary
The Project Accountant will support the the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract (“EGS”) of The Ontario Line ("OL"). The Primary Construction Team for this project consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP)" As a member of the project’s Finance and Commercial team, the Project Accountant is responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting. This role manages full-cycle project accounting, including payables, receivables, tax filings, accruals, and month-end and year-end close. The Project Accountant prepares monthly financial reports, monitors costs, revenues, and cash flow, and ensures compliance with budgets, accounting standards, and internal controls. Requirements
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA designation preferred. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry, is required along with proficiency in accounting software like SAP or Oracle.
