SETUP: 4 days/week in office, 1 day remote. In North York, ON START DATE: ASAP CONTRACT: 12 months ob Duties Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget. Assists Managers with budget submissions to regional governments. Prepares year-to-date financial reports for regional governments. Prepares quarterly reports, journal entries, and reconciliations. Prepares annual grant utilization reports. Assists with the preparation and review of monthly financial statements. Conducts variance analysis of the monthly general ledger and financial statements. Performs revenue recognition and funds analysis and completes government documents. Maintains year-end audit schedules. Prepares annual returns, including the Charity Information Return. Completes GST returns semi-annually. Prepares and posts payroll journal entries. Skills and Experience Required 5+ years of experience in accounting Accounting designation (or near completion of one) NPO industry experience Advanced MS Excel skills. JOB ID: 304017
