Accountant Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid: 1-2 days WFH) Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 + 5% Bonus Our client is growing! Recently acquired and the accounting team is expanding. Seeking a strong Accountant to own the daily and monthly financial processes, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and Director of Finance. What You’ll Do: Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and JEs. Prepare and analyze financial statements and year-end working papers. Ensure compliance, handle tax remittances, and assist in budgeting/forecasting. Navigate a high-volume data environment utilizing advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). Contribute to process improvements as they upgrade our systems Exposure to QuickBooks or NetSuite a huge plus! What You Bring: 3+ years of accounting experience Currently pursuing your CPA designation. Advanced Excel skills—you must be comfortable managing and analyzing large datasets.
