Position Summary Parker Hannifin Canada is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our team in Milton, Ontario. This role will support payroll operations for our Canadian workforce of approximately 550 employees, with planned growth to approximately 800 employees. The Payroll Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of payroll services in support of Parker Hannifin Canada’s Total Rewards strategy. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for end-to-end Canadian payroll administration, legislative compliance, payroll system configuration, and continuous improvement initiatives. Location: Milton, Ontario, Canada. 4 days in office / 1 day remote Salary Range: $70,000 - 90,000 Responsibilities Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll using UKG, including opening, loading, balancing, auditing, and closing payroll cycles Process regular and off-cycle payrolls, including bonuses, retroactive pay, adjustments, and corrections Validate payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, leaves, benefit deductions, garnishments, and taxable benefits Conduct payroll checks, reconciliations, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance Ensure appropriate payroll funding and liaise with banking partners as required Reviews and approvals for final payrolls processed Lead and support year-end payroll activities of preparation, reconciliation, adjustments, and filings. These activities include but not limited to T4, RL-1, T4A, WCB (Various provinces including Quebec CSST), Government Health Programs (EHT, QMD, MHT) and others as required. Perform complete calendar year end process including taxable benefit adjustments, pension adjustments, etc. Prepare payroll-related reports for Finance, Total Rewards, and internal or external audits Perform year end maintenance in payroll system (ie, Bank holidays, updated government related rates, updated benefit rates Support payroll tax compliance across Canadian jurisdictions, including Quebec Monitor legislative changes and recommend process or system updates to ensure ongoing compliance Maintain and update payroll systems and employee payroll records Support payroll-related system testing, upgrades, and enhancements Oversee processing of internal bonus and incentive programs Prepare and issue Records of Employment as required Responsible for any payroll related government audits or inquiries Primary backup to payroll preparation functions of HR, Payroll & Benefits Coordinator Direct involvement with future acquisitions and integration of additional team members onto Canadian payroll Primary resource for possible future projects including transitioning to a different payroll provider Deliver a high standard of service while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive payroll information Support ongoing payroll process improvements as the Canadian workforce continues to grow Qualifications Education/Certification Requirements Secondary education is required; post-secondary education in payroll, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred Minimum 5 years of progressive Canadian payroll experience, in a complex environment Strong knowledge of Canadian provincial payroll legislation and compliance, including Quebec Demonstrated expertise in Canadian payroll legislation Knowledge of UKG and ADP is a strong asset, with an appetite to support future payroll system projects as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel National Payroll Institute (NPI) Payroll Compliance Professional/Practitioner (PCP) or Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation is strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and understanding of payroll compliance requirements are required

Requirements
Requires at least five years of progressive Canadian payroll experience in a complex environment, with strong knowledge of provincial payroll legislation, including Quebec. Secondary education is required; post-secondary education in payroll, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred, as are PCP or PLP credentials, UKG or ADP knowledge, and advanced Excel proficiency.
