Carbon Accounting Manager

Novisto is looking for a Carbon Accounting Manager to join our Customer Operations team. This role sits right at the heart of the business - delivering value to our clients in the form of expert guidance and analysis while leveraging our carbon data platform. We are on a mission to define what best practice carbon accounting looks like. Your experience with client engagement combined with sustainability and analytical capabilities will play a critical role in delivering accurate carbon calculations for our customers and contributing to our mission of driving positive environmental impact. Your knowledge of the carbon accounting domain, deep understanding of the GHG protocol and reporting requirements such as SECR, CSRD and TCFD, will give relevant clients confidence in our expertise. We're a small and close company, so you'll frequently interact with the co-founders as well as other departments. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage value delivery for our customers including onboarding users to the Novisto platform, gathering data and calculation requirements, managing the footprint lifecycle and presenting results * Provide expert guidance on carbon and sustainability topics for our customers, in particular financed emissions * Join sales calls to demonstrate our expertise and how that is connected to our platform * Ensure our customers get the most out of the Novisto platform by training and monitoring new users * Analyse and transform complex datasets to improve the accuracy and quality of carbon footprints calculated through Novisto’s emissions engine * Build and suggest improvements to internal data models and systems, and work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to implement them * Act as an internal expert in the principles of carbon accounting, becoming a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike We're looking for brilliant people. Manage the end-to-end carbon footprint lifecycle for customers, including data gathering, calculation, and result presentation. Provide expert guidance on sustainability topics and collaborate with product teams to improve internal data models.

Requires 3-5 years of experience in carbon advisory and environmental accounting with deep expertise in the GHG protocol and reporting frameworks. Must possess strong communication skills for senior stakeholder influence and proficiency in data visualization tools.
