JOB SUMMARY The Inventory Accounting Technician is responsible for supporting inventory control activities across retail stores, distribution centers, and laboratories. This role coordinates and communicates inventory count schedules, validates inventory count results, investigates discrepancies, and works closely with store teams to ensure inventory accuracy. The position also provides administrative and operational support to the Sales Audit & Inventory Control team and assists with other departmental functions as business needs require. WHO ARE YOU? Detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable working with inventory data, spreadsheets, and multiple systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies. Effective communicator who can collaborate with stores, Operations, Finance, and internal stakeholders. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proactive in following up on issues and ensuring timely resolution. Team-oriented and flexible in supporting departmental priorities. RESPONSIBILITY Inventory Count Coordination Prepare and communicate inventory count schedules and instructions to stores Track count completion and follow up on outstanding items Maintain inventory count logs and supporting documentation Inventory Analysis & Validation Review and valida inventory count results Investigate discrepancies and follow up with stores as needed Escalate significant variances and assist with root-cause analysis Inventory Support Monitor and respond to inventory-related emails and inquiries Provide support and guidance to stores on inventory procedures Coordinate with internal teams to resolve inventory issues Sales Audit Support Assist with sales audit reconciliations, reporting, and data validation. Maintain tracking files and documentation. Support process improvement initiatives and other team priorities as required SKILLS Acts as an ambassador for Groupe Vision Newlook Inc. in attitude and actions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills QUALIFICATIONS College diploma (DEC) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory control, accounting, retail operations, or a related role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience working with ERP, inventory management, or retail systems is an asset Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset WHY US?
