Senior Accountant /Finance Manager– 3 Month Contract (with perm potential thereafter) Responsibilities Own corporate accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support. Manage and track intercompany transactions across Canadian and U.S. entities. Support multi-currency accounting, reporting, and related reconciliations. Prepare recurring financial reports and ad hoc analysis for the VP Finance. Help establish documentation, controls, and processes for intercompany activity. Partner with external advisors, including KPMG, on transfer-pricing-related processes and documentation. Support ongoing optimization and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. Act as the point person dealing with the external accounting firm and managing that process. Requirements Designated Accountant (CPA) with 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required. Strong experience with intercompany accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and journal entries. Experience in a multi-currency environment. Exposure to Canadian/U.S. entity structures is strongly preferred. Transfer pricing experience is an asset but not required. Strong Excel, reporting, documentation, and communication skills. Able to work independently and ramp up quickly in a changing environment.
