We are conducting a search for an experienced finance professional to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, inventory, and financial analysis who enjoys partnering with operations to improve business performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee cost accounting and product costing activities across multiple manufacturing operations. Develop, maintain, and improve standard costing methodologies and cost models. Analyze material, labor, overhead, production efficiency, waste, yield, and other manufacturing variances. Provide product, customer, and operational profitability analysis. Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliations, reserves, and inventory controls. Prepare and analyze monthly manufacturing financial results and key performance indicators. Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting activities. Develop reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve visibility into costs and operational performance. Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Plant Management, and Finance leadership. Identify opportunities to improve costing accuracy, inventory controls, reporting processes, and overall operational efficiency. Support ERP, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Assist with internal and external audit requirements related to inventory and cost accounting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional designation is preferred. 5–10+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or a related field. Strong experience with standard costing, product costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variance analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights.
