Role Description: The Accountant (Fintech, SaaS) will manage day-to-day accounting operations for the software and financial services business, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and monthly close activities. Working directly with the CFO, the role will prepare and analyze SaaS subscriptions and loan management services and support continuous improvement of financial processes. One full-time permanent and one part-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC. Compensation: Full-time: $50,000 – $65,000/year | Part-time: $25.00 – $31.00/hour Qualifications Strong accounting fundamentals, including experience with general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Knowledge of SaaS and fintech revenue models, including subscription billing, loan management workflows, and revenue recognition practices. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools; advanced skills in Excel or other data analysis tools. Understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to financial services and technology companies. Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional designation (e.g., CPA or in progress) is an asset.
