To support this evolution, we are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Supervisor who wants to make a tangible impact on our operations, systems, and processes. Reporting to management, you will play a key role in overseeing payroll and benefits activities while actively contributing to the integration of new entities, process optimization, and the continuous improvement of our tools and practices. You will supervise a team of three and work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure an excellent employee experience and efficient operations. Your Impact In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Oversee all payroll and benefits activities and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of operations; Lead, engage, and develop a team of three while fostering their autonomy and professional growth; Act as the subject matter expert for complex payroll and benefits matters; Ensure the application and evolution of payroll practices in a Canada-wide, multi-entity environment; Play a key role in the integration of new businesses, including the analysis, harmonization, and implementation of payroll and benefits practices; Actively contribute to the evolution of Dayforce by identifying optimization opportunities and participating in the improvement of processes and tools; Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions to strengthen the efficiency and reliability of operations; Work closely with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure an integrated approach and a high-quality employee experience; Contribute to the evolution of practices, controls, and processes to support BPA’s growth across Canada. Profile Sought University degree in business administration, accounting, human resources, or a related field. PCP or P.C.P. (Payroll Compliance Professional) certification. A minimum of six to eight years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing. Experience in team supervision, coordination, or leadership. Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and regulations. Experience in a multi-entity or Canada-wide environment. Experience with Dayforce or an integrated payroll management system. Experience with business integrations, process harmonization, or continuous improvement is a strong asset. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and priority-management skills. Ability to work in an evolving environment and navigate situations that may at times be less structured. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of business partners. Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.* Proficiency in English is essential due to the shared service model and to maintain an appropriate ratio among certain roles, ensuring effective coordination and service delivery across the organization.
