Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mississauga, ON. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, maintain accurate financial records, and support internal and external audits. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to provide timely financial insights that help guide business decisions. Qualifications Strong skills in general accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other standard office tools. Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related feild . Prior experience in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries is considered an advantage.
