About the role
Part Time Accounting Clerk Position
Part time (10 hours over 2 days – Mondays as one of the days and Wed or Thursday for the second); can be an employee or subcontract
- Reports to the Controller
- Software - Accounting package is QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks desktop (for a couple of small holding companies), RBC PayEdge vendor payment application, Excel for tracking only
Duties:
- Monthly - Reconciles main operating account and 5 other smaller banks
- Monthly Reconciles 3 credit cards but all are posted by another clerk so usual reconciling takes less than 15 minutes a month
- Weekly - Reviews payroll hours and posting descriptions for client invoicing needs
- Weekly - Send out Accounts Receivable notices via email and make notes in QBO on responses; no direct calling to clients required
- Biweekly - Process vendor payments via an EFT application
