Your Role We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Taxation to join our team. Please note that this is a temporary role ending on March 31, 2027. In this role, you will play a key part in our tax compliance and advisory functions, with responsibilities including: Preparing and submitting GST-HST/QST returns. Preparing and submitting non-resident withholding taxes remittances. Preparing corporate federal income tax returns (T2) using Taxprep and preparing US schedules for annual returns. Researching and assisting the Director, Taxation in providing accurate, timely tax advice on commodity taxes, payroll issues, international tax and income taxes. Assisting with the management of external tax audits and preparing briefs in support of tax filing positions. Assisting with New ERP implementation testing and implementation/ Providing Certificates of residency and other certificates as requested. Your Profile: University degree in a relevant discipline (Accounting or Finance). 3–5 years of minimum related experience in tax or a similar finance environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, excel) and Google suite. Experience with Taxprep and ERP systems is considered an asset. Ability to communicate professionally in English and French is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
