End‑User Engineer (Full‑Time) Role Summary We are seeking a full time Senior End User Engineer to own, operate, and continuously improve critical end user infrastructure services across the enterprise. This role is accountable for delivering consistent, secure, and scalable platform outcomes that support business operations, Technology governance, and cross‑team delivery. Platform Ownership and Governance The Senior End User Engineer defines and applies platform standards, guardrails, and operating practices that improve reliability, security, usability, and compliance. The role also resolves cross team constraints and ensures platform decisions align with enterprise architecture and Technology governance. Operational Scope This is a hands‑on and operationally critical role with responsibility for large‑scale deployments, Intune and MDM services, backup and restore management, day to day escalation management, and roadmap planning. The position requires practical engineering depth, strong execution discipline, and the ability to support production services at enterprise scale. Collaboration and Production Support The Senior End User Engineer designs, engineers, and supports the enterprise end‑user technology platform as part of a cross functional engineering team. The role partners closely with Operations to transition solutions into production, support escalations, and maintain the stability, security, and scalability of end‑user services. Role Expectations This is not a project only or advisory role. It requires sustained ownership, deep institutional knowledge, continuity of support, and ongoing collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Security, Risk, Architecture, and other technology partners. Key Responsibilities End‑User Engineering Serve as the primary technical lead for end user workspace management, with end-to-end accountability for operating system standards, device management platforms, and endpoint security controls. This includes defining and maintaining enterprise standards, ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements, guiding architectural decisions, and driving consistency across platforms. The role provides technical leadership to engineering and operations teams, supports roadmap planning, and ensures that end user workspace solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned to business and regulatory needs. Lead and support complex troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for high impact or systemic end user technology issues. This includes coordinating cross functional teams during major incidents, performing deep technical analysis to identify underlying causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The role is responsible for documenting findings, driving long term improvements to platform stability and resiliency, and ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into standards, processes, and future designs. Intune, MDM & Endpoint Management Maintain, evolve, test, deploy, and support Microsoft Intune to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable endpoint management across the enterprise. This includes managing policies, configurations, application deployment, device compliance, and platform health, while continuously improving the service to align with security standards, operational needs, and roadmap objectives. Maintain, evolve, test, deploy, and support JAMF to effectively manage Apple devices across the organization. This includes macOS and iOS/iPadOS lifecycle management, configuration profiles, application distribution, security controls, and integrations with enterprise identity and management platforms, while partnering with operations to support production stability and escalations. M365 Suite of Tools Lead structured task transition and knowledge handover activities, highlighting complexity, implementation risk, and areas requiring sustained ownership reinforcing the need for a permanent role Own and contribute to the Microsoft 365 platform roadmap, aligning technical direction with business priorities, security requirements, and operational capabilities. Evaluate new features and service changes, assess impact, and plan-controlled adoption into the environment. Evaluate, pilot, and implement Microsoft Copilot capabilities and agentic AI solutions, ensuring use cases are assessed for business value, security, compliance, governance, operational readiness, and measurable adoption outcomes. Exchange (mail flow, configurations, platform health, and escalations) SharePoint and OneDrive (information architecture, sharing models, governance, and lifecycle management) Related Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity services Ensure platforms are operated in accordance with security, compliance, and enterprise standards. Other Key Accountabilities Own platform delivery outcomes across multiple teams, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability requirements are met. Design and validate platform services, automation patterns, and enablement tooling aligned to architecture and security standards. Resolve cross-pod delivery constraints (pipeline issues, environment bottlenecks, shared service reliability) and drive durable fixes. Drive platform observability, operational readiness, and incident learning to improve service maturity. Coordinate dependencies with Software, Infrastructure, Security/Risk, and Architecture partners; surface trade-offs and sequencing impacts. Determine when escalation is required due to enterprise impact or security risk; ensure governance engagement. Enable AI-enabled delivery by standardizing safe patterns for automation, policy enforcement, and developer productivity tooling. Define and reinforce platform standards (runbooks, SLOs/SLAs where applicable, Change discipline) and ensure adoption. Contribute to chapters/communities by sharing practices, improving standards, and mentoring via influence. Required Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience deploying, imaging, and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 environments. Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Intune, MDM, and endpoint security controls. Proven experience supporting complex, business-critical enterprise production environments. Deep knowledge of Citrix environments, including virtual apps and desktops, platform administration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support. Experience engaging hardware vendors and managing OEM escalation paths. Comfortable taking sustained operational ownership beyond project-based delivery. Post-secondary education in Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Progressive experience delivering enterprise platform services and enablement capabilities. Sound judgement in balancing reliability, security, usability, and cost considerations. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across engineering and operations teams. Strong ability to understand priorities, manage competing demands, and collaborate effectively across teams to deliver outcomes. Experience with automation, CI/CD enablement, and service operability practices. Experience responsibly integrating AI-enabled tools into platform services and workflows The expected annual base salary range for this role is $120,000 - 130,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
