Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 07/25/2026 About this opportunity: Cenovus is looking for an SCM Service Center Administrator to support their Procure to Pay (P2P) materials and services portfolio for various Business Units. This role involves proactive stakeholder and vendor engagement, detailed issue investigation and resolution, and efficient execution of transactions, including Purchase Requisitions and PO life cycle management (receiving and invoicing). The administrator will ensure all tasks are completed within established service level agreements, maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. What you’ll do: Create purchase requisitions from defined requirements to support Business Unit activities, monitor approval of requisitions, and complete changes as required Conduct root cause analysis, problem resolution, and create and approve purchase orders as per established commit authority Link supporting documentation to requisitions and purchase orders, monitor approval, and transmit approved purchase orders to suppliers in a timely manner Create service entry sheets (SES) for non-automated service purchase orders and confirm receipt of all material purchase orders to ensure materials are received at the right time, price, and place Manage the purchase order lifecycle, including resolving invoice problems, clearing Goods Received/Invoice Received imbalances, ensuring vendor payment, and timely closure of purchase orders Support the Business Unit by responding to email and phone inquiries and communicating with vendors to resolve issues Ensure accurate purchase order creation, including tax code assignment, payment terms, delivery dates, and cross-company cost object alignments Resolve problem invoices in conjunction with a third-party automated payment system Who you are: Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements: Legally authorized to work in Canada Minimum 2+ years of experience in a related business field Minimum high school diploma Understanding of procure-to-pay processes Proficiency in SAP MM Excellent time management skills to handle large volumes and an ability to work independently We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
