Job Title: Manager Property Accounting (Bilingual - English & French) Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site (5 Days/Week) Location: Toronto, ON Employment Type: 6-month Contract Opportunity leading to Permanent Placement

We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to join a leading food & beverage client based in Toronto. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in commercial real estate and property accounting looking for a long-term career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties. • Oversee CAM reconciliations, operating cost recoveries, and rent calculations. • Review and approve property-related invoices and AP/AR activities • Prepare and monitor annual property budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. • Ensure compliance with lease agreements and identify opportunities for cost savings. • Partner with landlords, franchisees, legal, finance, and operations teams on property-related matters. • Support lease administration, rent escalations, renewals, and critical lease dates. • Analyze property performance and provide recommendations to senior leadership. • Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and special real estate projects as required. • Lead process improvements and ensure strong internal controls across the portfolio.

What the Client is Looking For: • 8+ years of experience in Property Accounting, Property Management, or Commercial Real Estate. • Must be Bilingual - English & French (full proficiency) • Strong understanding of commercial leases, CAM reconciliations, rent calculations, and property financials. • Experience managing large commercial portfolios. • Advanced Excel skills and experience with property management/accounting systems - Yardi • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Previous experience supporting retail, restaurant, or multi-site commercial portfolios is highly desirable
