In your role as an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will assist the Accounting Team by receiving and answering vendor-related calls, recording vendor payment information, reviewing and processing VISA invoices, and other supporting administrative tasks for the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately process supplier and subtrade invoices.
- Review and accurately enter credits from Vendors.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Review vendor statements for completion.
- Ensure subtrade insurance and WCB requirements are met.
- Review vendor and invoice details in Timberline and TimberScan.
- Ensure accurate credit card transaction processing.
- Interact with field team members regarding credit card transactions.
- Reconcile Visa receipts to statement, ensure coding accuracy and send for approval.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
- Respond to vendor enquiries using appropriate telephone and email etiquette.
- Respond to Keller team inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills via phone and email
- Background with Sage 300 CRE / Timberscan is an asset
- Prior AP experience in a construction setting
- Experience with data entry in excel
- Ability to complete tasks with limited oversight
- Accounting Diploma
- Desire to help facilitate field level transactions within protocols
