Project Manager (Project Portfolio & Financial Governance)
Job Summary
The Project Manager will manage financial tracking and reporting for the Caribbean Banking Project Portfolio and support annual planning for Application Development/In Segment budgets. This role is responsible for portfolio financial oversight, project lifecycle governance, executive reporting, investment review coordination, audit support, and portfolio performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review portfolio performance, ensuring projects maintain budget adherence, accurate actuals and forecasts, and correct status tracking (open, closed, cancelled, or on hold). Conduct monthly forecast analysis and identify financial variances against approved plans. Monitor resource allocations and escalate underutilization or allocation gaps. Provide portfolio forecasts and financial reporting to the Personal Banking & Digital Technology team. Facilitate Investment Review Board (IRB) meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, actions, and meeting minutes. Present portfolio and project materials during IRB sessions. Support IRB prioritization and planning activities with required portfolio information. Support project audits and assessments, including technology evaluation activities. Maintain approved, forecast, and actual spend data within Planview by preparing and uploading required data extracts. Prepare monthly portfolio dashboards, financial reports, and portfolio performance metrics. Maintain project records, documentation, artifacts, and governance deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Review project change requests and capitalization assessments for compliance and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in project portfolio management, project finance, PMO coordination, or related roles. Experience in financial tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and dashboarding platforms. Experience supporting executive-level reporting and Investment Review Board processes. Knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO governance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within banking or financial services environments. Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies. Experience with enterprise project portfolio management tools such as Planview.
