Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to design and deliver enterprise automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across multiple business functions. This role requires strong expertise with both Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate, along with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify, develop, and support scalable automation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the full automation lifecycle—from solution discovery and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing production support—while promoting best practices and mentoring other team members.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Blue Prism certification is considered an asset. Microsoft Power Platform certifications are highly desirable. Approximately 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise automation solutions. Experience working within Agile delivery environments. Additional experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Lean, Six Sigma, or business process improvement initiatives would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade automation solutions using Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate. Work directly with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate automation opportunities, gather requirements, and recommend high-value solutions. Analyze existing business processes and convert manual workflows into scalable automated solutions. Produce technical documentation including solution designs, process documentation, and operational support materials. Collaborate with infrastructure and technical teams to ensure appropriate environments, integrations, and platform readiness. Incorporate intelligent automation capabilities such as AI-powered document processing, OCR, and workflow optimization where appropriate. Ensure automation solutions align with organizational governance, security standards, and development best practices. Provide production support by diagnosing issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing fixes, and minimizing operational disruptions. Continuously improve existing automations by identifying performance enhancements and optimization opportunities. Share technical expertise with team members through mentoring, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Stay informed on emerging RPA, AI, and automation technologies and recommend innovative approaches where beneficial.
