Full-Time Bookkeeper

We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. We are looking for someone who can manage multiple accounts efficiently and handle day-to-day accounting operations for several businesses, including restaurants and hotels. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.

We are hoping to fill this position ASAP.

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM ? 4:30 PM
• Wage: $25.00 ? $32.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting duties
• Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
• Bank account reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Processing invoices, receipts, and expense reports
• Managing multiple business accounts, including restaurants and hotels
• Maintaining organized files and financial documentation
• Assisting with payroll preparation and related administrative tasks
• Preparing financial reports and summaries as required
• Monitoring transactions and identifying discrepancies
• Communicating professionally with management, vendors, and clients when needed
• Supporting day-to-day office and accounting operations

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous bookkeeping and accounting experience is required
• Experience handling multiple accounts/businesses is considered a strong asset
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with accounting software is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
