Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Assistant role based in Georgetown, ON. The Accounting Assistant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records for multiple divisions. Responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and ledger accounts, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role will also involve working with accounting software, organizing documentation for audits, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information. Qualifications Strong foundation in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support daily financial operations. Experience working with Financial Statements, including preparation support, review of entries, and reconciliation of accounts. Proficiency with Accounting Software and related Finance tools used for data entry, reporting, and account management. Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, multi-division environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in an accounting or administrative support role is an asset.
