We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Management Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading organization in the renewable energy sector. The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting business performance by delivering accurate financial reporting, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing valuable financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is an independent and motivated professional who takes initiative, approaches challenges with confidence, and is eager to learn and grow. They are reliable, proactive, and able to work autonomously while building strong relationships with stakeholders. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, you will:
Collaborate with leadership teams to support strategic planning and operational decision-making through financial insights and analysis Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end activities to ensure accurate and timely financial information Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations to support business objectives Serve as a financial systems resource, supporting business processes, system functionality, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain strong knowledge of accounting practices while providing guidance, training, and support to internal teams Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiencies, and strengthen data accuracy and reporting capabilities

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field CPA designation completed 3+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and reporting Strong written and verbal English communication skills required; bilingual French/English considered an asset Familiarity with JD Edwards or Salesforce is an asset
Compensation:
$85,000 - $100,000 annual salary Defined benefit pension plan Annual salary increase of 3% Fantastic benefits Hybrid work environment Free parking
