About the role

Looking to build a career in finance? This role offers a front-row seat to the mortgage industry. You’ll manage the essential financial data and documentation that keep our loans performing, providing a perfect entry point for someone who values accuracy and operational excellence.

Where You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Bridging the Gap: You take ownership of the file the moment a loan is funded, ensuring a seamless transition from the closing table to our active portfolio.
  • Executing Custom Requests: You process essential account changes - such as payment frequency updates, privilege payments, and bank info—turning borrower requests into accurate system entries.
  • System Navigation: You manage the complexity of working across our different business lines, ensuring data integrity across multiple software environments.
  • First Impressions: You handle the "Day 1" experience by issuing welcome letters and ingestion notes, ensuring new clients have everything they need from the start.
  • Supporting the Lifecycle: You act as the operational engine for the Customer Service, Tax, and Default teams by resolving technical requests and managing NSF reports to keep the process moving.

What We Value:

  • Bilingual (French/English) speaking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • A results-driven mindset with a high level of accountability and ownership over work.
  • You have a "measure twice, cut once" mindset. You catch the small details in payment frequencies or banking info that others might miss.
  • Full-time on-site presence (5 days a week) at our Montreal office.

Supporting Your Life at CMLS:
