About the role
The Opportunity
The Sr Analyst, Business Insights supports the Sonnet Marketing team by delivering reporting, digital funnel insights, and performance analytics across key channels. Responsibilities include analyzing sales performance, quote mix, and retention trends; building and automating dashboards; and synthesizing insights to inform leadership decisions.
The role also supports CX investment prioritization, providing data‑driven recommendations to guide resource allocation, and contributes to planning and forecasting through performance projections, scenario analysis, and KPI tracking.
The Analyst partners cross‑functionally with Marketing, CX, Sales & Distribution, and Technology to reduce operational bottlenecks, strengthen KPI governance, and support successful roadmap execution.
What to Expect:
- Digital Funnel & Performance Analysis - Analyze digital traffic, funnel conversion metrics, and channel performance. Provide impact estimates for CX initiatives to inform prioritization and measure/analyze post implementation to understand business impact.
- Reporting & KPI Development - Build and maintain KPI dashboards for operational performance reports. Deliver clear, concise insights to operational and leadership teams.
- Automation & Data Enablement - Automate recurring reports where possible. Support data quality, structure, and enablement to ensure accuracy and consistency across KPI reporting and forecasting.
- Business Support & Ad‑Hoc Analysis - Support business partners with ad‑hoc analysis, business case inputs, and insights tied to lead optimization, sales performance, and digital behaviour trends to inform decision‑making across initiatives.
What you Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in analytical field such as Math, Statistics, Engineering, Business. Marketing knowledge/experience also an asset.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in an analytical or quantitative role.
- Experience with data analysis, SQL, Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Looker, Tableau, Google Cloud (Bigquery), Excel, PowerPoint, Python/programming.
Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200
High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
