About the Role

Spatial Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Manager to manage our financial operations focusing on cost control, inventory and efficient supply chain finance within a B2B environment, ensuring compliance with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports, bank reports and variance analysis.
• Cost & Inventory Management: Assist with inventory valuation, COGS analysis and reconciliation; collaborate with operations/supply chain to gather cost data.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances.
• *Taxation: *Compute taxes, prepare returns (GST, PST, etc.) and ensure compliance.
• Reconciliation: Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement internal controls to safeguard Company assets.
• Audits: Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with ERP/Accounting Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Strong excel skill
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, communications and organizational skills
• CPA designation or in progress will be considered an asset
• Experience in supply chain or distribution will be considered an asset

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
