About the role

Job Purpose

The Receptionist provides a variety of skilled administrative and clerical support for the department. Responsibilities involve exposure to sensitive information and require considerable use of facts, diplomacy, discretion and judgement. This position assumes responsibility for the overall telephone directory, client direction and forwarding of documentation to the proper recipients within the Enoch Cree Nation Finance Department, working closely with department staff. Assume other responsibilities when assigned to aid in the department’s overall success.

Education, Experience And Requirements

Post-secondary or business training would be an asset. Ongoing training and skills development may be required to keep up with the demands of the department.

Working Conditions

The Receptionist is required to work a total of 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 830 – 430 (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed. Primary location, with occasional Enoch Cree Nation Finance Department travel to various sites. Overtime may be required in order to meet deadlines. A Receptionist may be required to sit for long periods of time while doing computer processing and project tracking or may stand for long periods of time while collecting data or filling. They may be required to work in different areas of the office depending on the tasks they have been assigned. Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
