Job Title: Senior Digital Business Analyst Duration: 12 Months (Renewable or temp to perm) Location: Montreal, Quebec, H3C1A3
Remote work: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office) Bilingualism: English = an asset
Your Role Support product owners, business line partners, and the digital delivery team in decision-making and the production of deliverables Adopt a user-centric, solution-agnostic approach to cross-domain initiatives Define the scope of processes to be optimized and proactively manage activity planning for various deliverables Lead workshops with diverse stakeholders—across various levels and areas of expertise—to understand their needs and challenges Model current and target processes based on the Bank’s established mapping practices Conduct high-level and detailed impact analyses covering all aspects of the change scope, with input from subject matter experts Gather, document, and analyze business, stakeholder, and solution requirements; understand the relationships between them and ensure traceability Actively participate in the partner selection process, analyze various solutions, and make recommendations on the solutions to adopt Define and identify User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and support users during the operational transition Propose strategies for change management
Prerequisites University degree related to the industry and several years of relevant experience Business analysis skills within a technology-oriented ecosystem Experience in end-to-end business process transformation, change management, and continuous improvement Strong business acumen and understanding of banking sector activities, processes, and issues, including regulatory and governance requirements Knowledge of business process improvement and mapping (BPMN modeling) Knowledge of quality assurance processes (testing strategies and scenarios) Ability to think strategically; strong analytical, synthesis, communication, and complex problem-solving skills Personal leadership, initiative, priority management, and strong adaptability Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
