Senior Power BI Developer (Kyvos)

Position: Senior Power BI Developer (Kyvos) Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Total Experience: 10+ years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, SQL optimization, Azure data platforms, and data modeling. The role involves designing scalable dashboards, developing analytical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to BI teams.
Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. · Create advanced DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and optimized reporting solutions. · Develop and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data integration processes. · Build and maintain dimensional data models and enterprise BI solutions. · Work with Azure data platforms including Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Databricks. · Support Kyvos Analytics environments and optimize analytical solutions. · Implement Power BI security features including Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance standards. · Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and technical teams to deliver BI solutions. · Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. · Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities. Required Skills: · Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, RLS, Power BI Service). · Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills. · Experience with Kyvos Analytics Platform. · Hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform technologies: Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Azure Databricks · Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling. · Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. · Power BI certification preferred.
