Job Summary We are seeking a Billing Manager to be part of our Finance team at our Head Office location. This role will oversee and facilitate the Billing and Accounts Receivable processes for multiple client projects in multiple company entities and manage a team of 6 people.

Responsibilities Manage accounts receivables and billing team. Provide weekly reports and KPI’s to finance team. Ensure billing month-end deadlines are completed. Complete and maintain a thorough understanding of client contracts and how various items are billed. Ensure contract and amendments are processed and managed effectively to ensure client’s work is performed and invoiced as per contract. Communicate well with staff and clients regarding billing related issues & inquiries to foster positive and production relationships. Communicate pertinent information between executive management and other administrative staff Ensure collection of all information required for billing (timesheets, third-party documents, PO’s, delivery slips, etc) are received and managed appropriately. Assist with generating client invoices and submitting through various client portals/systems. Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and client online portal. Conduct light AR collection efforts. Complete and follow up with customer credit applications, and manage collections with third party. Enter KPI reporting data and provide to client management. Collaborate on project presentations. Perform reception duties as needed (i.e., answer door/phones).

Requirements Experience in a Billing Administrator, Contract Billing, or relevant role Experience in managing a team Excellent organizational skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and reallocate priorities as needed High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite with intermediate level Excel skills
