Senior Functional Testing Analyst: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Functional Testing Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Functional Testing Analyst - Job Description: The project involves a Treasury transformation and QRM implementation aimed at enhancing financial data analysis and reporting capabilities. The role requires working closely with business, data, and technology stakeholders to ensure the integrity and quality of data across platforms.

Senior Functional Testing Analyst - Responsibilities: • Understand and validate business processes, data flows, and system integrations • Develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation approaches • Perform data validation, reconciliation, comparison, and investigative testing activities • Support Agile pod-based delivery teams with quality assurance from requirements to production readiness • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects

Senior Functional Testing Analyst - Mandatory Skills: • Minimum 7 years of experience in Functional Testing, QA Analysis, and Data Testing • Strong understanding of various testing methodologies including Integration and System Testing • Experience in data analysis and reconciliation of large datasets • Strong SQL skills for data validation and root cause analysis • Experience working within Agile delivery environments • Hands on experience with Databricks SQL • Ability to interpret process flows and system interaction diagrams • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Senior Functional Testing Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with QRM, Treasury, or risk management platforms • Knowledge of financial products and interest rate risk concepts • Experience with Databricks notebooks, Python, or PowerShell • Experience with Tableau or Power BI for reporting solutions • QA/BSA ex[eroemce preferred. • Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks

Senior Functional Testing Analyst – Assignment Length: This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.
