About the role
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Accounting
- 2-5 years accounting experience
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing team members considered an asset
*Key Responsibilities *
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable multiple operations
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Prepare government filing and remittances (HST)
- Prepare and maintain budget analysis
- Lead monthly budgeting meetings
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Supervise and mentor the Accountanting Technicians
- Ensure accuracy of all financial entries and coding
- Support month-end close and year-end audit preparation
- Maintain organized and complete financial records for Companies
- Other duties as required
Other Details to Note:
- A few days each month may be spent in Oromocto, NB to manage the accounting team there.
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
