About the role

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting
  • 2-5 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing team members considered an asset

*Key Responsibilities *

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable multiple operations
  • Perform monthly reconciliations
  • Prepare government filing and remittances (HST)
  • Prepare and maintain budget analysis
  • Lead monthly budgeting meetings
  • Lead the annual budgeting process
  • Supervise and mentor the Accountanting Technicians
  • Ensure accuracy of all financial entries and coding
  • Support month-end close and year-end audit preparation
  • Maintain organized and complete financial records for Companies
  • Other duties as required

Other Details to Note:

  • A few days each month may be spent in Oromocto, NB to manage the accounting team there.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
