About the role
Job Overview We're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our rapidly growing logistics and fulfillment business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working through complex accounting challenges in a fast-paced environment.
You'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, supporting month-end close, reconciling key accounts, and helping build scalable accounting processes as the business continues to grow. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve problems and drive improvements. Just as important, you'll thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment where people work hard, support one another, and genuinely enjoy being part of the team.
Duties Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Manage recurring and ad hoc accruals to ensure expenses are recorded in the proper period. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions for accuracy. Support customer billing processes and collaborate with operations to ensure invoicing accuracy. Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, and accounting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
Requirements CPA designation completed or in progress. 5+ years of accounting experience with strong month-end close and reconciliation experience. Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial reports. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems or ERPs. Experience in logistics, fulfillment, distribution, eCommerce, or other high-volume environments is an asset. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving processes.
