THE POSITION

The accounting technician supports the team in all accounting activities across the various development, management, and corporate entities.

Responsabilities

Enter invoices and payments received, and process payments; Assist the team in preparing monthly financial statements and various journal entries; Conduct various analyses as requested; Perform bank reconciliations; Prepare GST-QST reports; Process monthly invoicing; Assist in preparing audit files.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

College diploma in accounting, university certificate in accounting, or equivalent; 3 to 5 years of accounting experience; Excellent knowledge of the entire accounting cycle; Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel; Knowledge of Yardi software (a plus); Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines; Ability to handle a heavy workload and a wide variety of cases; Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities; Customer-service-oriented approach;
