Growth opportunities and skill development are defining features of the colleague experience at TD. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. Job Description: The Manager, Wealth Planning Content is responsible for leading the development, management, and evolution of strategic wealth planning content that supports advisors, clients, and business partners across Wealth Advice. You will oversee the creation and maintenance of client-friendly articles, advisor education materials, webinars, newsletters, and specialized planning resources, ensuring all content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Wealth Planning, Advice Marketing, Advisory Councils, Strategic and Editorial Content teams, and other key stakeholders to identify content priorities and deliver high-quality resources that support advisor capability and client outcomes. You will be accountable for the overall content governance framework, including editorial standards, content workflows, maintenance schedules, and processes to ensure content remains current and compliant. A significant focus of this role is monitoring, researching, and interpreting legislative, legal, regulatory, tax, trust, and estate planning developments that impact wealth management and financial planning strategies. You will assess the implications of new laws, regulations, court decisions, and policy changes and translate complex legal and technical concepts into clear, practical, and accessible content for advisors and clients. As a result, this role requires a strong foundation in legal, tax, trust, estate, or financial planning disciplines and the ability to understand and communicate the practical application of evolving legislation. You will serve as a subject matter expert for internal partners, providing guidance and recommendations on wealth planning content while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, risk frameworks, accessibility requirements, and regulatory expectations. You will also identify opportunities to improve content adoption, leverage digital and AI-enabled tools, and modernize how technical knowledge is delivered across Wealth Advice. In addition, you will support strategic projects and initiatives by providing expertise in financial planning, taxation, trusts, estates, insurance, and related wealth planning disciplines. Through ongoing research and thought leadership, you will help elevate technical knowledge and awareness of emerging industry developments across the organization. Who Thrives in This Role You thrive at the intersection of technical expertise and communication. You enjoy staying current on legislative, legal, tax, trust, and estate planning developments and naturally seek to understand how those changes impact advisors, clients, and wealth planning strategies. You are energized by translating highly technical information into practical, accessible content that helps others make informed decisions. You have a strong intellectual curiosity and are comfortable researching legislation, regulatory developments, and complex planning concepts. Rather than simply reporting on changes, you enjoy interpreting them, understanding their implications, and helping others apply them effectively. Whether your background comes from law, taxation, trust services, estate planning, or advanced financial planning, you bring a level of technical credibility that allows you to confidently navigate and communicate sophisticated subject matter. You are a strategic thinker who cares about the impact of content, not just its creation. You value accuracy, governance, and risk awareness, while maintaining a strong focus on advisor and client needs. You build trusted relationships, work collaboratively across teams, and bring a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do. You are also excited by innovation and modern content delivery methods. You embrace new technologies, including AI-enabled tools, and continuously look for opportunities to improve how technical knowledge is created, shared, and adopted across the business. Most importantly, you are passionate about helping build a best-in-class wealth planning support organization and raising the overall level of wealth planning knowledge across Wealth Advice. Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in wealth planning, trust services, estate planning, taxation, law, financial planning, or technical advisory support roles within financial services. Demonstrated experience working with, interpreting, or providing guidance on legislation, regulations, legal frameworks, or public policy related to wealth management, trusts, estates, taxation, or financial planning. Strong legal, tax, trust, or estate planning background with the ability to analyze legislative changes and communicate their practical implications to advisors and clients. Deep technical knowledge of Canadian tax, estate, trust, and financial planning concepts. A university degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Business, or a related field. CFP designation is considered an asset; CPA, CA, CFA, TEP, JD, or LLB designation is strongly preferred. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal, tax, and financial planning concepts into clear, actionable content. Experience creating educational, technical, or thought leadership content for advisors, professionals, or clients. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across diverse partner groups. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe tools, and emerging AI-enabled content development technologies. Strong understanding of governance, compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
