Job Opportunity: Accounting Clerk Company: Wheat City Concrete Products Ltd. (operating as Midwestern Redi-Mix) Location: Virden, MB (In-Office) Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Schedule: Seasonal Fluctuating Hours May to October: Full-Time November to April: Part-Time About the Role Wheat City Concrete Products Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at the Virden office. You will manage the day-to-day financial operations for one of our group companies. This position offers a predictable, seasonal schedule perfect for balancing work and personal time during the winter months. Core Responsibilities Accounts Receivable: Process invoices, post payments, and manage collections. Accounts Payable: Verify invoices, match purchase orders, and issue payments. Payroll Processing: Calculate hours, process payroll, and maintain employee records. Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records in our accounting software. Qualifications Experience: 2 to 5 years of related accounting work experience. Skills: Strong understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and payroll practices.
