How does the role impact the organization? Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Manager, Business Management and Initiatives, is a key execution and operational enabler to the CEO and senior leadership team. This role plays a critical part in driving alignment, focus, and execution across the firm. The Senior Manager, Business Management and Initiatives ensures firm wide priorities are effectively translated into action, monitored for progress and delivered across the organization. By enabling disciplined execution and fostering collaboration, this role directly contributes to the firm’s long-term growth, advisor engagement, client focus, and operational excellence. Please note that this role is located in Toronto at our downtown office and your presence is required in office minimum of 3 days a week. What will your role be responsible for? Serve as an execution enabler to the CEO and leadership team, supporting the planning and execution of key corporate initiatives and deliverables; Support and monitors delivery of related multi-year strategic plans, ensuring initiatives remain on track and aligned with firm priorities; Support and coordinate the firm’s strategic planning cycles, including annual and long-term planning; Conduct, compiles and coordinates market, competitive, and internal analyses to support informed decision-making and identify opportunities for growth in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders; Works closely and collaboratively with Executive Assistant community and other partners to coordinate and prioritize the CEO’s business agenda to ensure focus on high-value initiatives and effective use of time; Prepare and deliver executive-level materials, including town halls, Board presentations, and key business updates; Prepare and maintain the monthly Operating Committee dashboard, Senior Leadership Team Meetings, Executive Offsites, etc. consolidating firm-wide updates (including recruiting, ECM, corporate initiatives, financials, risk, compliance, and HR) to provide a clear, accurate, and actionable view of business performance; Drive accountability and follow-through on key decisions, ensuring alignment and execution across the Executive Leadership Team; Support and coordinate cross-functional initiatives and firm-wide projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes; Promote collaboration and cross-business engagement across RJL business lines, identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships and drive growth; Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operating rhythms to track and report on business performance; Coordinate Executive Leadership Team meetings, offsites, and governance forums, ensuring effective planning and follow-through; Support firm initiatives and key business priorities, including Total Wealth and other cross-functional programs; Support timely and effective working relationship between the CEO, senior leaders, Board members, and external partners; Identify and address barriers to execution, recommending process improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness; Partner closely with Corporate Communications and Marketing to plan and execute a broad range of strategic initiatives, including executive communications, key business announcements, ensuring alignment with firm priorities and brand standards. What do we expect from you? 7+ years of experience in financial services, including wealth management, investment banking, asset management, or related sectors; Experience in strategy, consulting, corporate development, or senior business management roles; Strong financial acumen and understanding of capital markets and investment products; Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, and highly regulated environment; Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities; Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build relationships at senior levels; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information; Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities; Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex organizational dynamics with sound judgment; High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
