Listings & Financial Disclosure Analyst - Canadian Securities Exchange (CNSX Markets Inc.) Overview The CSE is seeking a Listings & Financial Disclosure Analyst to join our Listings team, reporting directly to the VP, Listings. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of capital markets, regulation, and accounting, supporting the review of listing submissions while also acting as a backup reviewer for issuer financial statements.

This position is ideal for an early‑career accounting professional pursuing a CPA designation who is interested in public markets, regulatory work, and building a strong foundation in financial statement analysis.

This is not an existing vacant position.

Key Responsibilities: Listings & Regulatory Review Support the review of listing applications, supplemental listings, and ongoing issuer submissions. Analyze issuer filings for compliance with exchange policies and applicable securities requirements. Liaise with issuers, auditors, legal counsel, and advisors regarding listing submissions and follow‑up questions. Prepare internal summaries, memos, and correspondence related to listing matters. Assist senior Listings Managers with transaction reviews, policy interpretations, and issuer guidance. Financial Statement Review (Backup / Support) Review issuer financial statements (annual, interim, and pro forma) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and securities law. Review MD&A disclosures for completeness and compliance with securities law. Analyze financial statement & MD&A disclosures with listing statement disclosures for consistency and completeness. Act as backup support for primary financial statement reviewers during peak periods or absences. Identify accounting issues, disclosure gaps, or inconsistencies and escalate as appropriate. General & Developmental Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of issuer submissions and internal review notes. Contribute to process improvements, checklists, and internal guidance materials. Stay current on accounting standards, securities regulation developments, and exchange policies. Participate in training and mentorship with senior team members. Qualifications & Experience: Required Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of relevant experience (public accounting, audit, regulatory, or capital markets exposure is an asset). Currently holds or is actively pursuing a CPA designation. Strong understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience in audit, assurance, or financial statement preparation/review. Exposure to IFRS and public company reporting. Interest in capital markets, securities regulation, or exchange operations.
