About the Opportunity As Manager, Accounting, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the financial reporting process for regional business operations. This position will lead month-end close activities, oversee balance sheet management, drive process improvements, and support a high-performing accounting team. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting. Review and approve journal entries, proactively identifying and resolving close-related issues. Own the balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring accounts are fully supported and outstanding items are cleared on a timely basis. Drive the resolution of legacy accounting issues while implementing sustainable processes and controls. Improve accounting workflows across systems, reducing manual effort and strengthening internal controls. Ensure the integrity of financial data and enhance system processes to support efficient reporting. Manage and develop a small accounting team, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear performance expectations. Partner with IT, Sales Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, investigate variances, and improve financial processes. Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and operational effectiveness.
About You CPA designation; open to industry or public accounting backgrounds Assistant Manager level or above Previous people leadership experience Strong communication and presentation skills IFRS proficiency is an asset
Salary Range $115,000 - $130,000 / year
