Tax & Estate Planner | Vancouver, BC | Confidential Search Are you a Tax Manager in public practice looking to make the pivot into industry?I'm working with a well-established, independent investment firm ,a true BC institution with over 100 years in the industry to find their next Tax and Estate Planner.
My client is team-owned, award-winning, and known for a culture of genuine collaboration and long-term client relationships. They're looking to add a sharp, client-focused Tax and Estate Planner to their Financial Planning team.
What You'll Do Partner with clients and Investment Advisors on tax, estate, and personal finance strategies Prepare and present sophisticated financial projections using industry-leading software Identify tax minimization opportunities and translate complex rules — personal, corporate, trust income tax, registered/non-registered accounts, pensions, government benefits — into clear, actionable guidance Write tax and personal finance articles/bulletins that keep clients ahead of the curve Contribute to internal seminars and external presentations
What My Client Is Looking For CPA designation + 5 years post-designation tax experience CFP designation preferred (or willingness to obtain within 2 years) CPA In-Depth tax program completion is a strong asset TEP and/or FEA designations are a bonus Sharp analytical instincts, superior communication skills, and a genuine passion for client service A collaborative, self-motivated mindset — someone who thrives as part of a high-performance team
The Details This is an in-office role based in Vancouver, requiring a minimum of four days per week onsite.
