Role Description The Financial Services Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Flin Flon, MB. This role involves serving members by opening and maintaining accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, and providing information on credit union products and services. The representative will conduct financial needs assessments, recommend appropriate lending, investment, and insurance solutions, and assist members with applications and documentation. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries in person and by phone, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring accurate, compliant transaction processing. The role also supports branch sales goals through proactive member outreach and contributes to a positive, professional branch environment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of finance and financial services to support member consultations and product recommendations. Experience or training in investments to assist members with savings, term deposits, and other investment options. Proven customer service skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns effectively. Understanding of insurance products to explain coverage options and support cross-selling where appropriate. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and member records. Ability to work collaboratively in a branch team environment and adapt to changing member needs. Comfort with banking software and basic computer applications; willingness to learn new systems.
