Position

The Senior Manager, Sales & Distribution is responsible for supporting the AVP, Sales & Distribution in the planning, coordination, and execution of national sales initiatives that advance the division’s strategic priorities. This role plays an important part in driving advisor productivity, market growth, and advisor-centric innovation, with a particular focus on the High-Net-Worth (HNW) segment and alignment with enterprise wealth objectives.

Reporting to the AVP, Sales & Distribution, the Senior Manager Sales & Distribution partners closely with regional and national stakeholders to support business performance, execute strategic initiatives, and advance transformational programs that enhance sales effectiveness and advisor outcomes. This role contributes to the development of internal capabilities, supports talent and engagement initiatives, and helps ensure the successful delivery of key business priorities across the Entrepreneurial Channel.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of national sales initiatives that support the strategic plan, including client acquisition, share of wallet growth, talent acquisition, and market visibility. Identify, lead, and optimize strategic partnerships to support client and talent acquisition Identify and implement business development opportunities that support national client acquisition strategies, with external industry partners. Plan, coordinate, and execute partner events, conferences, trade shows, panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, and regional roadshows. Build and maintain productive relationships with key industry stakeholders to enhance collaboration, visibility, and business development opportunities. Assess internal and external environmental factors that may influence the strategic plan and provide recommendations to the executive team to support informed decision-making. Develop ideas and opportunities for key development programs, including sales advisory support and practice management initiatives for High Net Worth client segments, to strengthen advisor engagement and drive sales growth. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive educational programming focused on core competencies that strengthen advice delivery for key client segments, including business owners, professionals, executives, farmers/fishermen, and pre-retirees/retirees.

Qualifications And Experience

University degree/diploma in relevant business discipline Plan.Fin. designation is an asset 5-year experience in the financial services industry In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial services industry, sales/distribution Strong event coordination and management skills, with exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail. Project management experience, with the ability to engage and mobilize internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to build strong relationships Experience working with entrepreneurial clients is considered an asset. Strategic Thinking Strong writing and presentation skills Bilingualism (French-English) is required

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $102,000 - $141,500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
