Car-Net Wine and Spirits is a growing importer and distributor specializing in premium wines and spirits across Canada. .

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Calgary and support our growing operations. Must be proficient and fully experienced in QuickBooks accounting, Microsoft Outlook and Word. Excel an asset. Must have the ability to manage time, be detailed oriented, well organized and able to work independently. Hours: 3 days per week

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments
• Prepare GST filings and assist with payroll
• Support inventory and sales reporting
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and accountant requests
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records

Qualifications

• 3-5 years bookkeeping experience working in an office environment
• Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in the beverage alcohol industry is considered an asset
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and GST filings preferred

Experience:

• QuickBooks: 3 years (preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
