Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Reconciliations, on a permanent basis for our Local Co-op Financial Services and Systems team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What You’ll Do
Prepare timely and accurate general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations in accordance with established deadlines. Prepare journal entries and year end working paper files. Draft clear and professional communications to local Co-ops regarding reconciliation details and follow-ups. Maintain organized departmental files and perform regular bank account reconciliations. Other duties as required.
Who You’ll Work With
The Team: You will work closely with other Accounting Technicians who focus on reconciliations and will be part of a larger accounting team. You will report into the Supervisor, Business Accounting and will interact with professionals across the Co-operative Retailing System. Members of this team have the opportunity to exercise independence when troubleshooting and working directly with customers to address accounting discrepancies.

Who You Are
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
Have a high school diploma and one introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution. Individuals who have a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
