To support continued growth in the region, Sigicom is looking for an Office Manager to join the Ottawa office. In this role, you will work closely with the local team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the office.

The Role

As Office Manager at Sigicom Canada Inc., you will play a central role in supporting our growing Canadian operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Ottawa office while providing administrative, financial, operational, and customer support across the business.

Working closely with the General Manager and colleagues across Europe and North America, you will coordinate office administration, customer orders, logistics, finance, and service operations. This is a broad and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, creating structure, and supporting a growing organization.

Main Areas Of Responsibilities

Ensure a professional, safe, and well-functioning office environment. Coordinate office facilities, supplies, service providers, and workplace-related activities. Act as the first point of contact for visitors and general office administration. Coordinate purchasing, inventory management, incoming and outgoing deliveries, and warehouse administration. Maintain accurate ERP and operational records. Support rental fleet, calibration, and service operations. Manage invoicing activities, including hardware orders, rentals, calibration, and service invoices. Support credit control, credit memos, overdue debt collection, and customer account administration. Ensure accurate handling of financial and delivery documentation. Coordinate communication and collaboration between departments and external stakeholders. Support management, marketing activities, and business improvement initiatives. Act as the local coordinator for IT support, workplace safety, and office-related compliance activities.

You are comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities—from administration and finance to logistics and customer service—and are motivated by being an important part of a growing organization.

Qualifications And Experience

Experience in office management, administration, operations, finance, or a similar coordinating role. Experience working in a small or medium-sized business is an advantage. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Good understanding of invoicing and basic accounting processes. Experience coordinating logistics, purchasing, or inventory is beneficial. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. French is considered an asset. Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues across international teams.

Please Note

For this role, we are looking for candidates who live in or around Ottawa area, who hold valid work permit, and can work from the office 5 days per week.

We are an independent and privately owned company with focus on providing the most cost efficient equipment for remote monitoring of environmental disturbances from infrastructure projects.

Our head office is in Älvsjö, just south of Stockholm, and this is where most of us work. We are located in Denmark, France, Netherlands, UK, Canada, the USA and Australia.
