About the role
Job Title: AML Analyst – Transaction Monitoring & EDD Location: Vancouver, BC(Hybrid) Duration: 2.5 Months Rate: CAD 23/hr training rate for first 4 weeks followed by CAD34/hr production rate
Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day activities associated with the AML program. Conduct Transaction Monitoring reviews and support AML investigations. Gather and analyze information, maintain accurate reporting, and document findings. Draft and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other regulatory reports. Provide recommendations and insights to the AML leadership team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Support ongoing AML and compliance initiatives. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of AML, Financial Crime, or Compliance experience. Strong experience in Transaction Monitoring and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD). Knowledge of FINTRAC, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations. Experience with STR writing and regulatory reporting. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with tools such as Refinitiv, LexisNexis, Dow Jones, or Actimize is an asset. CAMS or CFCS certification is preferred.
