About the role
Job Description
- Accurately account for transactions in the general ledger accounts
- Prepare and review working papers that support account balances, and investigation of any issues
- Perform account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Analyze account and cost centre balances for reasonableness and consistency
- Perform month-end and year end financial reporting analysis
- Work closely with the manager and accounting staff to ensure efficient processing of accounts
Job requirements
- Relevant post secondary education (Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance)
- Three years relevant experience in Accounting/Finance
- Strong computer skills: Proficient use of the Microsoft Office, Excel and accounting program
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven time management, organization, prioritization and multi tasking skills
- Ability to anticipate issues and recommend appropriate actions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
