About the Role As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you play a key role within our Finance team by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of accounts payable transactions. You will support strong vendor relationships, maintain organized financial records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Key responsibilities include: Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match invoices to purchase orders and verify appropriate approvals prior to payment. Prepare and process payment runs, including cheques and electronic payments. Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to payment inquiries. Reconcile vendor statements, credit card transactions, and accounts payable records. Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies and confidentiality standards. About You Your skills and experience include: 3-5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and organization. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams. Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles. Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or AP automation tools is considered an asset. Make a Difference with Wessuc!
